The process, for inserts in plastics housings of electrolytic condensers, comprises (a) applying at least in the casting region, a curable casting resin film, which prereacts or precondenses at a temp. above 100 degrees C and is still tacky in the prereacted state at the temp. of application and after the required precondensn. time but becomes firm on cooling; and (b) casting the plastics pot in a 'cold-curing' casting resin, which cures at a lower temp. (is not 40 degrees C). Poor adhesion resulting from the use of 'cold-curing' resins is eliminated.
