Organic fertiliser prodn - by aerobic fermentation from cow dung mixed with org material

A fertiliser is produced by subjecting a mixt. of cow dung and org. materials with a high flocculating power (e.g. peat) opt. with added mineral fertilisers, to biological conversion in sealed containers in the presence of sufficient air for aerobic fermentation. The moisture content is pref. controlled by adding a small amt. of clay, e.g. in the form of bentonite. The peat can be entirely or partly replaced by pelleted dry grass.
