Brake pressure modulating valve - has fail-safe interlock with brake pressure failure in other circuit opening bypass

The brake pressure modulating valve control the brake pressure to e.g. the rear wheels and has a control valve mounted between the inlet and the outlets. A second inlet is connected to another brake circuit e.g. the front brakes, and a double action piston balances between the two brake pressures. If the brake pressure fails in the front brakes the piston moves and opens a bypass line to provide full brake pressure on the rear wheels. The valve assembly is contained within a housing which is split centrally between the ports at either end.
