The compression ram truck travels on rollers on a passage of angular cross-section, and the axes of the rollers are inclined at an acute angle, typically 45 deg. to the passage walls. The rollers can run on guides in the form, of bars fitted in the passage corners, and can be mounted on the top and bottom of the ram truck, in pairs one behind the other. Ram truck roller fixture angle results in absorbing horizontal as well as vertical applied forces. Minimal roller clearance prevents lateral movement thus eliminating any impact forces on the guide bars.
