The invention applies to cocktail sticks such as those used for publicity purposes. It is considered that a cocktail stick which can be used for other purposes enhances the effect of the advertisement. The cocktail stick has a blade (1) in the form of paper knife and a handle in the form of the advertised goods - e.g. a motor car (2). The cocktail stick is made of plastic and can carry the firm's trade mark or emblem or an advertising slogan. The bladed end should be so formed that it is free of any danger due to sharp edges or points.
