Detector of atomic explosions, partic. for detecting their location and magnitude, comprises an array of adjacently situated horns or trumpets, esp. arranged to form at least part of a spherical surface, each contg. a photo-sensitive cell and an electronic device for processing the information received by the cell, so as to provide parameters which permit the determination of the time of the explosion, its direction and its magnitude.
