Pneumatic control circuit for eccentric presses - ensures protection equipment is in position before machine can operate using double air circuits

The foot operated main valve controls two circuits of air. The first circuit has, in its rest position, a valve in line, positioned and operated at the top dead centre of the eccentric. Air can now flow to a number of relays which will unlock guards and shields for the movement of materials. Only when guards and shields are re-positioned can the second circuit operate to set the machine in motion. Safety valves to give fail-safe conditions are also fitted.
