The arrangement consists of two parallel aluminium pipes which are used as connectors for two transverse parallel aluminium plates. The front plate is upholstered for kneeling. The pipes connect the rear plate by straps so that this place can slide along these pipes. This rear plate has a raised plastics plate in order to ensure that the open ends of the trousers do not drag in the concrete below. Under the plates are arranged replaceable steel pins. The weight of the worker is carried by these pins which pierce only small holes into the flooring material, these holes being readily filled. A number of such assemblies can be used to form a path across newly laid flooring.
