The robot (1) has a cable robot module (100) and another cable robot module comprising respective working platforms (70), drive platforms (20), Bowden cables (31, 34, 35) and distance rods. Each cable is connected with the platforms in cable suspension points (12, 37), respectively. The suspension points form respective fastening surfaces (28, 29), where the rods are fastened to rod suspension points (41, 42) arranged within the respective surfaces. The working platform or drive platform of the former module is arranged at the working platform or drive platform of the latter module.
