Electrical rheumatism bed with two electrodes - one in and extent of coverlet and other in bed

Electrical rheumatism bed a physiologically favourable electrical climate to act on the human body during sleep, particularly for treating Bechterew's arthritis. An insulated first electrode is in the coverlet, and is connected, directly or via a potential-generator, with a second electrode on or outside the bed. Preferably the first electrode is flat, of same size as the coverlet, and may be a wire netting; the second electrode is a metal bed. The atmospheric electromagnetic radiation, e.g. 10-50 kHz, is damped by the electrodes, acting like a Faraday cage. The generator can be a 50 V dry battery.
