Beer-like drink is produced by fermenting a mixt. of barley malt, hops and palatinose in brewing water, and then processing the fermentation product by methods used in brewery. Palatinose is 6-alpha-glucosidofructofuranose. Low-alcohol pale drink having aroma and taste like beer is produced at low cost. The alcohol content is 1-1.5%.
