Double tracked cold cathode gas discharge tube - with capacitive ignition and has metallic disc embedded in insulation

A cold cathode gas discharge tube with two electrodes inserted at the ends of a tubular insulator. Both the main electrodes are coated with an activating layer with a ring on the side facing each other turning them into hollow electrodes. The control electrode is fitted around the tubular insulator. A metallic disc is embedded in the tubular insulator between the two main electrodes. The disc has a hollow ring at its centre which forms a double discharge path for the main electrodes. The inner ring is also provided with an active surface coating. All the electrodes fitted into the tube have gas tight seals.
