Instructions which refer to varibles, brackets, OR operations of variables and new functions are successively processed. During the processing of instructions which refer to an open or a closed bracket, the contents of a counter is increased or decreased by one unit. The result of a processed instruction is stored. The instructions are passed to a programmable read-only memory and to an intermediate store in the sequence determined by an instruction counter. The instruction decoder and address control are connected in series and a one-bit-accumulator, a one-bit-storage and a counter are driven via an operation switch mechanism.
