Portable railway warning system - has automatic detectors for trains and central reception and alarm station

The portable warning system is used for protecting workers engaged in work on the railway track, to eliminate the human observer and the associated shortcomings. Approaching trains are detected by automatic sensing stations on either end of the railway section in which work is carried out and signals are transmitted to the central receiving station to produce an acoustic alarm signal. The portable central station and two portable sensing stations are in wireless contact. The central station has two wireless receivers, an analysis stage and a relay circuit. An alarm signal is produced by instruments. The sensing stations each have a magnetic field sensor and a relatively weak transmitter.
