A moulding removal appts. for an injection machine, esp. for easily broken mouldings, e.g. of ceramic materials, comprises a pivoting arm mounted to slide on one of the guide bars for the movable half-mould. The swinging end of the arm carries a grab which picks the moulding off the half-mould after the mould has been opened; the arm then slides axially along the guide bar, pivots through 90 degrees and deposits the moulding on a receiving surface. along-side the mould. The arm is pref. pivotally driven by a rack-and-pinion drive in which the rack is actuated by a ram mounted transversely to the mould. The pinion may be mounted on a sleeve revolving on the guide-bar with transmission rods extending parallel to the guide bar (i.e. parallel to the pinion axis) and engaging the hub of the pivoting arm, so that the hub and pivoting arm are free to slide axially along the guide bar.
