Rotary gravity die casting table for light alloys - in which all casting operations are at one station, uses fixed knock-out station

The rotary table has a single station at which all the devices for opening and closing the moulds are grouped at a single position and spaced from the casting stations, the table itself also carrying those parts required for maintaining the mould in a closed state during casting and cooling. Split moulds are used, each half being associated with actuating elements and an engaging head moving in a plane transverse to the rotary motion of the table. Further engaging heads are used with locking devices for each mould half moving in a similar plane. Further means are provided to transfer filled moulds to a fixed knock out station.
