System for joining circular topped tables - uses straight edged infill pieces joined by grooves and tongues

Interconnecting tables with circular tops, for use in bars or restaurants, can be used in multiples and in any configuration. Each table top (3) has a groove around its periphery which acts as a location for the infilling pieces which are of two basic types. The first (5a) is used to give a straight edge between tables; the second (5b) is used when a right angle is required. Grooves and mating tongues give correct locations and, to lock the system together, quick action cam lock fasteners concealed beneath the table tops are used. The feet of adjacent tables abut to allow the tables to be easily placed in correct positions.
