Mobile water spray head for fire fighting - uses the reaction of water jets operated by radio control to move head

The water spray head is guided by radio control using the reaction of water jets pressure fed through a hose and reel fitted on a water bowser. A common header (5) on a fire hose (4) feeds water to a tubular square frame (12, 16) through four support arms (6, 9). Centrally mounted along each frame side is a spray nozzle in a swivelling housing (20). Each opposite pair of nozzles is controlled directionally by an electric motor (33, 41) and linkage (32) driven from a battery (31) and radio receiver (30) mounted in an enclosure (29) between the support arms. A hand held radio transmitter controls the operation.
