A coolant circulating pump for use with nuclear reactors is arranged for removal from the cooling water flume in one piece with minimum difficulty. The pump is used with any plant requiring very large flow of cooling water., e.g. a nuclear reactor. The pump unit is very compact and can be mounted or demounted with minimum work.
