Spinning toy for 7-14 year olds - which is hand held and activated by pulling a thread

The top consists of a fixed part (1) made in plastic and of suitable shape and dimensions to be held in the hand. This is pierced by a bore (2) in which a mobile rod (5) is placed. At least one vane (6) is fixed to one extremity of the rod. The bore has got a local enlargement (3) which corresponds to a projection (7) on the rod. The fixed part is also pierced by a narrow bore (4) which is perpendicular to the other one and joins it. A thread is coiled round the rod (5) and goes out through the narrow bore and when this is pulled the vane rotate.
