Apparatus for teaching correct pronunciation of foreign language consists of tape recorder reproducing different frequency bands. One of the course phases is played to transmit for listening frequencies lower than 300Hz, in another phase only the high pitch frequencies greater than 3000Hz are heard. In another phase the frequencies of 415Hz to 750Hz and the frequencies of 3400Hz to 5000Hz, are transmitted. In a third phase of the instruction it transmits the simultaneous combination of frequencies lower than 300Hz, the frequencies greater than 3000Hz, and discontinuous frequencies of 415Hz to 750Hz and of 3400Hz to 5000Hz, and finally in another phase the whole of the frequencies in the sound spectrum are transmitted.
