The concrete slabs, especially for lining watercourses, are rectangular in plan and have two perpendicularly disposed groups of parallel and equally interspaced ribs. Adjoining slabs are connected by mortices and tenons formed by ribs projecting at slab edges, and include chamfered tenons on one slab edge to enable changes in slab inclination to be accommodated, e.g. at the junction of bed and bank revetments. The width of each recess formed by the ribs is less than 0.6 of the depth of the recess. The depths of chamfered surfaces of outer ribs of the slabs are half the width of the ribs.
