The report describes an investigation by means of a physical model of the stability of a slope revetment consisting of a stone pavement subject to wave action. In a simplified configuration to reduced scale, the stability of concrete blocks (40 mmx40 mmx20 mm) on slopes 1:3 and 1:6 subject to attack by irregular waves was investigated. The transmissibility of the foundation varied from an impervious cover to an open surface consisting of a layer of course gravel.
