The handlebars comprise a mounting tube with a tub-shaped section having a handle at right and left, being also equipped with all necessary controls for the bicycle. The parcels space and the handlebars can be integral, forming a board clamped by a single bolt in the wheel fork socket head. Goods can be carried without hindrance in the tub portion between left and right handles, and without interfering with the steering. The parcel carrier may easily be adapted for use on a moped. The carrier top meay be closed with a weather proof lid which is lockable.
