Pipe transport device - has end-covered tube, holed to take pipe, and incorporated noise-damping rings

Transport device (1) for pipes which comprises a tube (2) with end (3, 4) covers in which holes (5) are provided for the insertion of at least one pipe. These holes have a larger cross-section than that of the pipe. Rings or discs (8) of noise-damping material and of suitable dimensions are incorporated, having at least one hole (8) with a smaller cross-section than that in the end covers, and the parts between the circumferential edges of the rings of discs are located at a distance from each other. The rings or discs are located in a tube which is insertable in the end cover, and they have a circumferential edge which is thicker than the part encompassed by the edge. They are also composed of heat-resistant material.
