The transportability and storability of moist boron silicates and aluminium silicates is to be improved without costly drying processes being necessary. Furthermore, the intention is to be able to use such boron and aluminium silicates in a straightforward manner in detergents. This is achieved by aggregates which consist of the following ingredients: A) 20-70% by weight of a silicate, defined in Claim 1, of the general formula (cat2/nO)x.Me2O3.(SiO2)y and B) 30-80% by weight of at least two water-soluble salts which contain water of crystallisation and are selected from the group of triphosphates, pyrophosphates, orthophosphates, sulphates, carbonates, metasilicates and borates of the alkali metals, especially of sodium. These aggregates are produced by mixing 25-75 parts by weight of moist, finely divided, water-insoluble silicates of the stated formula, which have a water content of 30-60% by weight, with 25-75 parts by weight of at least 2 of the said finely powdered triphosphates, pyrophosphates, orthophosphates, sulphates, carbonates, metasilicates and borates of the alkali metals.
