Railway vehicle bogie with pivoted axles - has single axle bogies with stabilising elements for following track curves

The bogie for a railway vehicle has at least one axle which is pivoted relative to bogie frame. This arrangement is used to ensure that wheels will follow track curve without excessive wear which occurs on using rigid axles. The bogie may have single axle bogies (6, 7) each of which has an auxiliary frame (8) on which the single axle bogie is able to rotate about a vertical axis. The single axle rotating bogies are connected to ensure that they are not able to rotate freely relative to the coarch body (3) which could result in derailment. The auxiliary frames (8) can be coupled with a bending rod (13) parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bogie. This rod is bent laterally by the guide pines.
