The textile/polymer layer of the self-fixing flooring is coated on its reverse side with an in situ curable, lightly foamed polyurethane elastomer produced from (a) 100 pbw. polyether polyol, (b) pdw polyisocyanate and (c) 50-300 pbw mineral filler in the presence of (d) 0.5-8 pbw test. alkanolanine, (e) 0.05-0.6 pbw water, (f) acid equiv. to 1000 ppm HCl and (g) 0.01-0 pbw monoorgano-Hg II and/or Pb and/or Sn and/or Fe- carboxylic acid/salt catalyst. The elastomer has e.g. 500-2500 klb./m3 and contains 25-95 wt.% filler. The flooring has sound proofing props. and is used in vehicles and ships.
