Water bath for heating water-tight food packets - pumps water through system to ensure high rate of heat transfer

The water batch is mounted on legs and has a central nozzle box which divides the bath into two parts. The sides of the nozzle box are perforated to provide nozzles which emit jets of water supplied by the pump through a pipe. The water returns to the pump via two other pipes. The water tight packets of food which are to be heated are placed on grids within the baskets, which are fully open on the side facing the nozzle box so that the circulation of the water is not impeded. The control box is mounted on the cover above the bath.
