Adaptive control system for metal cutting machine tool - adjusts allowable feed rate for every spindle revolution for rapid response

The adaptive limiting value control system is used on a metal cutting machine tool which has a rotating working spindle. The rapidly responding regulator is provided for ensuring maximum allowable feed depending on the machining task dependent magnitudes. The signal generated by the cutting process magnitudes is fed into an analyser and computer (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) by a spindle revolution. The analyser and computer prepare the adjustment signal for the next spindle revolution.
