Xerographic process for colour film copies - using black white three picture negative or positive

The object to the reproduced it taken on a colour negative and copied on to a black and white three picture negative or positive with three longtidudinal strips, red, green, and blue sensitive next to each other. The color separations are copied consecutively by means of UV light over a totally reflecting prism on to a film running parallel to the three picture negative after the pictures have been made visible in all colours. The copy film is pref. a light permeable carrier having the upper surface coated with a similar light permeable layer and which allows the changes which are produced on this layer by exposures to flow onto a metallic substrate over which the copy film is passed during copying.
