The container has the shape of a support holder (1), accommodating parallel rows of ampoules. The ampoules are individually pushed into an opening sectional unit (10). The unit is formed by a part of the container, positioned in front of an ejection element. This container part consists of two hinged sections, having inwardly facing support surfaces (13) for the ampoules to be separated. One of the sections (10) may be swivelled relative to the other, so that the movement causes the ampoules to be broken off. The sections are connected via a hinge (9), and the swivel section may be locked in the opening position. Opening unit and container consist of plastics shells, the latter being partly transparent.
