The process is for the supply of hot water in connection with a heating installation, where the tapped water is heated by means of the heat medium, and at least a partial flow is conducted past a heat exchanger unit delivering the tapped water. The heat medium flow emerging from the boiler is fed into a storage unit supplying the heat medium to the radiators: at least a partial flow is tapped off from the storage unit for heating the exchanger unit. A pump may be used to deliver the partial flow to this unit. The storage unit has supply pipe from the boiler opening into it, and fitted with heat medium ducts for the heating system and for the heat exchanger unit.
