Fire-resistant synthetic leather consists of (1) a textile support, e.g. a fabric, fleece or felt, consisting of natural, synthetic or regenerated cellulose fibres, and (2) a coating of a polyurethane and/or polyurethane-urea arranged on one side of (1). A fire-proofing agent is applied to (1), and to the side of (2) directed towards (1). Prod. has good self extinguishing properties and can be washed repeatedly without loss of these properties.
