The device for the installation of test meals into patients at the correct temperature consists of an integrated single unit which is not dependent on any external energy source. The container in which the meal is stored can consist of more than one chamber and can be of box design having separated sealed food and heating chambers separated by means of dividing walls. The heating chamber may be divided into several separate divisions by separating walls. A manufactured sealing unit is provided for the meal or food container, consisting of a seam welded joint.
