So that the food which is stored in a cool chamber cabinet can be heated up inside it, an induction heating unit(14) is provided for each meal tray in the cabinet (2). A gap designed to take the tray(8), and between the heaing unit(14) and the tray(8) containing the meal to be heated, is adjustable so that the temperature can be controlled accordingly. The induction heating unit can be controlled and programmed by a timer. Different foods can be placed on the tray but only those mounted in the area of the heting unit will be heated up.
