Arrangement for determining maximum statistical values - has technical parameters and restricting criteria entered into respective memories

A statistical computation is executed with in a computer process control system to determine the maximum values occuring in order to optimise the process accuracy. The system has use in production processes, traffic flow, overseas travel routes etc. Technical parameters, such as basic costs, are fed into an internal memory (7) from a card input (1). Necessary restricting criteria are entered into a memory (8), also from a card input. A separate card input (6) contains details of the maximum value search process, such as a Monte Carlo method, and this is entered into memory (10). The computer (11) operates upon entered data to generate values for a matrix memory (13) and maximum values are generated and stored on card (14).
