Glass product consisting of a beam with a U-profile and in which one leg of the U is bent outwards and also possesses a U-shape. Several of the glass products are pref. assembled in a row in which the straight leg of one profile locks into the U-shaped leg of the next profile in the row. The glass profile is pref. made using a multi-part die, the die being assembled to form a cavity consisting of a long base with a straight leg at one side and a leg in the shape of an inverted U at the other, the die being employed to shape a flat sheet of glass. Used in constructing industrial-, domestic-, public- or agricultural-buildings, to maintain a microclimate and permit the use of modern architectural designs.
