Six sided cardboard carton stored flat - bottom folds into middle for storage and is reopened by pressing on sides

A six sided cardboard carton can, after having its sides and bottom made up, be stored flat, and by exerting pressure on each end the carton reopens. A one piece blank is used, which is folded to give six panels (1 to 6). The free ends (6, 8) of the side panels are glued together, as are the bottom tabs (11 to 16). When inward pressure is exerted on two opposite panels (3, 6), the box folds flat with the bottom moving upwards. Pressing the ends of the flattened box reopens it. The top flaps are folded down and the lid secured by a locking tab.
