Pests are eliminated from soil by placing an indestructible and/or rot-proof net having a mesh size sufficiently small to prevent vertical migration, =2cm under the surface of the soil and parallel to that surface. The process is esp useful for eliminating earth worms and phytophagic worms in golf courses, airfields etc, and causes no pollution.
