Appts. for continuously forming and cooking pancakes - automatically separating and turning over the pancakes to cook both sides

In a machine for automatically and continuously forming and cooking pancakes by applying paste to cooking plates arranged in a common plane on a rotating wheel from which edge-joined pancakes are peeled off after one wheel revolution, as in parent patent, the novel aspect is that the pancakes are automatically peeled from the wheel, separated, conveyed in single file to a cooking surface, pref. a heated cylinder, which cooks the second face, the pancake being supported and controlled as necessary, and then peeled from the cooking surface and conveyed away. The pancakes are pref. sepd. by pulling apart, each pancake which is peeled from the wheel being gripped between conveyor band and gravity roller moving the pancake faster than the wheel. The pancakes are automatically turned over and the machine provides controlled cooking of second face without risk of slip.
