Cephalosporin suppositories were formulated from water-sol. salts of cephalosporins and = comps. selected from among higer alc. ethers of poly(oxyethylene), and higher fatty acid esters of poly(oxyethylene). In an example, corn oil and poly(oxyethylene) lauryl ether were mixed and to this was added finely powd. cephaloridine.
