Angle measuring and drawing apparatus - with movable strip equipped with scale and used both as ruler and an angle drawing unit

Angle measuring and drawing apparatus by which the angle can be measured automatically. The apparatus includes a movable strip (1) connected to a ruler forming a rigid frame through a semi-circular geared section which carries a drive plate and a reversing plate connected to it by a flexible band. The band is fitted with read-off pins which are moved along straight scales. The movable strip (1) is equipped with a scale and its outer edge may be used as a ruler whilst the inner edge (3) is used as an angle drawing unit. The semi-circular geared section (4) is fitted with bearing pins as well as locking holes.
