1443260 Jet looms RUTI MACHINERY WORKS Ltd 20 June 1974 [20 June 1973] 27500/74 Heading D1E A jet loom has auxiliary nozzles 28 which direct the weft into recesses 26 of a guide comb 25 which is pivotally mounted on the sley 11 so that, on weft insertion (Fig. 1) the teeth 25 protrude from between the reed dents 13 and, on beat-up (Fig. 2) do not protrude. The teeth 25 may have faces 30 aligned with the reed dents at the beat-up position to assist in beatup and reed teeth 25 need not be provided between each dent. For Figures see next page
