Thiophosphoric and dithiophosphoric acid esters of the formulaP PWHEREIN R.sub.1 represents methyl or ethyl, R. sub.2 represents n-propyl, isobutyl or sec, butyl, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents chlorine, bromine, methyl or ethyl, R.sub.5 represents ##EQU1## X represents oxygen or sulphur, processes for their manufacture and their use in pest control.
