HYDRAULIC VIBRATION ABSORBER FOR PIPING UTILIZING FLUID INERTIA AND IT S ATTENUATION EFFECT

PURPOSE:A vibration absorber including two bellows 29 and a tube 30 set to a piping 32 by means of a pipe clamp 33 transmits vibration or displacement caused by external forces such as eathquake through a translation bar 31 and connecting rod 35 to the bellows 29. When one of the bellows 29 shrink, the working fluid is transferred to the other through the tube 30. This action can have an effect to attenuate the vibration.
