The playing surface is of nylon flock electrostatically precipitated on to cardboard or plastics. The centre pockets engage the side walls by lips 8. The corner pockets engage the side and end walls by lips 11 and are stuck to them to hold the walls in place. A resilient expanded polystyrene cushion 12 extends around the table, the bottom of the cushion being spaced from the table. Hollow plastics balls are used and are propelled by a flick piece 13, Fig. 2. The centre pockets 7 can be removed and placed in the corner pockets 9. A set of snooker balls and a triangle may also be placed on the table and the whole covered with a lid for transport.
