The set of elements for making bookcases or cupboards consists of beams (1), cubes (2), dowels (4) and boards. Each beam (1) is of square cross section and is provided with a hole (1') in its end face and square section grooves (1") running along the middle of each longitudinal face. The cubes (2) are provided with a hole (2') on each face to receive the dowels (4). The cube (2) and dowels (4) are then used to assemble the beams (1) at right angles to each other. Shelves are formed by sliding thin boards into the grooves ( ) in the beams (1). The parts are held together with a suitable adhesive.
