A motor vehicles sliding door has a three point suspension with two suspension points on the front edge, top and bottom and the third in the middle of the rear edge. The top supporting arm swings about a vertical pivot, and the bottom supporting arm swings about a horizontal pivot. These pivots are fitted with a T-shaped roller carrier (23). The third suspension of the sliding door includes a higned block with vertical hinge pins. One pin is formed by a leg of a U-shaped bracket. The roller of the upper support has a guide rod on the end of the carrier arm. The bottom suspension arm (4) is L-shaped and its shorter leg (29) is fitted to the door. The longer leg is attached to the overhang bracket (27) of the roller carriers (23) to give the swinging action.
