The drive for an electrical traction vehicle has a gear drive driven by a motor output pinion and a large gear wheel for driving the axle of the vehicle by nose bearing mounted motors. This motor is held at one end by springs on vehicle frame and at its other end it is held on the driving axle by nose bearing. A flexible circular layer is arranged in the large gear wheel between the wheel hub and the wheel rim. In this arrangement circular springs made from non oil resistant highly flexible natural rubber are used. The flexible circular layer representing rubber springs 5.5 is made of thin, wide rubber. This spring is arranged only in the middle section between the large gear hub and the large gear rim.
